i cant eat. I'm going through some difficult things right now and i lost appetite i started skipping a meal or two and now i don't eat for entire days. i already lost like 4 cm of waist and a few pounds and i feel weak and tired and I'm starting to faint when i get too stressed, its been 2 times but compared to the fact that I've always been a healthy person and i never faint it worried me. plus when i try to eat i get nausea, even with cereal, of the entire bowl i get like 2 or 3 spoons and i cant continue... i think i need help but i think it is psychological because only my boyfriend (who surprise! is the one that has me so stressed) can make me eat. Help! Lethargic,pain,nausea,numbness… of appetite what is this?

Ok. About 2 months ago I hurt my back working in my yard. So bad that I thought I was paralyzed the next day because I could not move at all. I ended up going to the ER and they suggested a MRI. Well, I couldn't afford that. So I just dealt with it and now I can get around fine but I have a constant numbness and tingling in my fingers of my left hand. Then last week I think I moved wrong or twisted a neck muscle. It was a shooting pain followed by a sort of black out and dizziness. Since then I have felt increased neck and back pain, nausea, decreased appetite, numbness in my right hand that comes and goes (worse at night) along with the numbness I already had in my left hand, joint and muscle pain and severe lethargy. I know this is a lot but and any help would be great on figuring out what is going on here.

I have been feeling weird these past couple of days?

Last night, I sort of felt like the room was spinning when I was laying in bed. I wasn't nauseated or anything, but it was a weird feeling. What to do I am having Period Problems...?

I started my period at 11 years old and now Im 21 and nothing helps me. I started having a couple pregnancy symptoms about a month ago. I took a pt that was negative and the doctors was negative so we decided I start Ortho Evra (the patch) which I started the day I got my period June 6. I had some small clotting but not a lot of pain and it went away. I have bled lightly since I started the patch but the doctor said that could last up to 3 months. The part that I find so odd is that I have gained 6lbs and the last week or so I have had a huge increase in appetite, fatigue, moodiness, etc. I have spoken to several women who used the patch and they decided to switch because they had bad nausea. But NONE of them had those symptoms. Some suggested maybe I wasn't far enough along when I had the pt done. Has anyone ever experienced this? I don't want to seem foolish to go to my doctor with this but also don't want to feel foolish not to go to the doctor. Advice plz. Can you be pregnant then start birth control and not know you're pregnant?

38w4d pregnant and in extreme pain!?

Is this normal? the last couple nights, this is the third, i've had these very weird and extremely painful cramps on my sides. At first it was both sides and back, but now its my right side. It feels like the muscles are totally stretched out or something. It hurts to the point of tears, i can barely walk, and sleep all day. I was sick for the first 2 days/nights with a fever and loss of appetite. Well, my fever is down now and my appetite still isn't back. I hardly eat anything at all, actually. Anyways, I went to the Dr today and she acted as if all is well. She gave me some tylenol and some gastrointestinal meds and sent me off. Also, I am in a foreign country which is my huge concern. Is it possible for pregnancy symptoms to increase if your hormones aren't?

I know that as long as there are hormones present it is possible to experience symptoms, but last week I had nothing, and now I'm experiencing a ton of different things. The doctor suspected a non-developing pregnancy and made me wait a week (which would be Friday) for the next appointment. I'm just thinking it's pretty unfair that my hormones would be decreasing and I'd be losing the pregnancy when I'm nauseous, hungry but with no appetite for anything at all, have sore boobs, headaches, extreme fatigue (like, bed time at 6 PM), the same part of my nipple that got darker with my daughter has gotten darker now, etc. All of them have been increasing over the past few days, and new ones keep popping up. So basically, I feel pregnant even though the doctor seems confident that it's non-developing and I should miscarry. Is it possible for the hormones to go down and the symptoms increase?

3 days ago I woke up with a swollen throat, on the right side only. Both of my lymphnotrs are swollen in my neck, by my throat and are very tender to the touch. 8 hours after I woke up with these symptoms, I developed flu like symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, and dizziness (common flu sumptoms) but I didn't experience a site throat, running nose, or cough. I feel much better now, I'm still experiencing the same symptoms with my throat, but it's gotten better than before. My flu is going away as well, I have an appetite. My friend made me obese?

I know all the details because my friend confessed and told me all this yesterday. So im a guy, 15 and it basically started last year when my friend started lending me some money when I forgot my wallet so I could buy a snack from the vending machine. Then he started coming with me to the vending machine and offering to pay for my snack everyday. He then started buying me two snacks everyday even though I didn't ask and just said I could pay him back next time we went into town or something. So for a few weeks he would buy me two or three snacks everyday and needless to say the increase in calories was beginning to show. My friend said it really started when this happened as he saw me in swimming and noticed I looked chubbier. But it got worse over the next few months, he started buying me more and more snacks and with an increasing appetite and him being so nice I just happily ate. Every two weeks we would go into town to mcdonalds and he suggested an eating contest where the winner got to eat all the food and the loser had to pay for it. As I was getting bigger I always won and found myself eating 5 extra large big macs, fries, ice cream and feeling generally stuffed by the end. At school he would buy me extra snacks to take home and for the weekend in case I got hungry. When I went round to his house he always had plenty of snacks in and we always pigged out, me especially as I got bigger I began to lose control of my appetite, there was a point where I knew I was putting on weight, but I felt so hungry that I wanted more. On my birthday we spent the day in town shopping, I asked if we could get lunch and snacks but he said no, I moaned all day about how hungry I was but he said we wern't eating. Then when we got back to his house he had 3 birthday cakes, biscuits, chocolate and eclairs and said it was my birthday feast which I devoured like a pig. By new year of this year I had just hit the 200lbs mark. As of today I weight 230lbs. Yesterday was our annual yearly fitness test. Not surprisingly there was a lot to say for mine considering I can barely jog now. My teacher told me I had gained 80lbs in a year and my fitness had gone from average weight to morbidly obese. These words made me and my friend stop and think. I had been happy being overweight and he didn't mind making me fat. But when I told him I was morbidly obese and how much I weigh he said it was time to stop, he had just wanted me to get a bit fat for fun but it had got out of hand and now it had to stop. Now what do I do? I know most of you will say lose the weight but any advice?

Birth control: Is it possible to not know you're pregnant?

I have been experiencing symptoms of pregnancy a lot the last week or so. I have gained 6 lbs in a month and until the last week, week and a half I haven't eaten a lot more. But this passed week or so I have had a HUGE increase in appetite and cravings, extreme fatigue, mood swings etc. For a while I have attributed this to the extra hormones of the patch but the women I have spoken to say they never experienced these things, mostly upset stomache which is something I have not felt. Why won't my baby ball python eat?

I have a three month old male ball python that looks a little underweight, but he won't eat. I've tried feeding him a frozen small mouce, live pinkie rats, live fuzzy mice, and live pinkie mice, but all he does is smell the food, then slither away and looks around the tank or at the food. Ok so I had unprotected sex on June 3rd...I took a pregnancy test on the 19 and the 20th both said negative..then I took two more tests on the 22nd and 23rd..these also said negative. Fear of death help????

It all started on a wednesday. I think it was may 25, but anyways the day went really awesome, but that night randomly this thought came into my head that when people die, its just nothing forever, and it was really wierd, because it really freaked me out and made me sick to my stomach. I was hoping that I would just sleep it off, but its kind of become an obsessive thought, and I started having these little anxiety attacks during the day. It got better to the point were I wasnt really getting freaked out, but then I found out about my friend who killed himself Saturday and things have been getting worse. Pain in lower left side of my abdomen that switched to right?

I am only 2 & 1/2 weeks or so into my cycle and for the past 2-3 days I have been experiencing a sharp pain that is sometimes on my left side and sometimes on my right. What could be causing my Bowel problems?

I had my appendix removed in April. They also removed adhesions that were making my intestines stick to my abdominal wall. 2 weeks after, I start having less bowel movements. I would have a small one maybe once per week. I've had a lot of bloating and pressure and burning type pain in my abdomen. Went to ER a few days ago. They did an enema. It barely worked. The next day I drank a bottle of magnesium citrate. All that came out was water and a few small stools. I did an enema the next day. I had a medium sized movement. Mostly liquid. Yesterday I had a small regular. My stool has been green for a few days. Haven't eaten anything green or food coloring blue. Still very bloated feeling. It hurts in gallbladder/liver area. Gallbladder removed 5 years ago. I'm always tired and sleepy. No energy at all. Also get cold easily. Could adhesions have grown back and constricting my intestines? What should I do? I'm sure the doc will just blow it off. ER said my entire colon was packed with stool. I don't have the urge to go. Appetite is small also. Think I need surgery? By the way, I've been trying stool softeners, milk of magnesia, enema, magnesium citrate, more water, more fiber, and more exercise. Nothing at all is helping.

20 weeks pregnant and haven't gained any weight?

I haven't gained any weight at all through out my pregnancy, I don't have morning sickness and have a very healthy appetite. Is this normal not to be gaining weight? My ob hasn't said anything about it but he is a man of few words and also he has never listened to the babies heartbeat through a dropper or even a stethoscope is this normal? With my last pregnancy (different ob) he listened to the baby every appointment and also felt my tummy for growth. Why is my dog suddenly panting,Shaking,and unable to hardly move?

I'm asleep too long to be eating the right amount of calories?

So, my school year has been over for about a week and a half now, and I basically celebrate by going into hibernation mode. During the summer, my sleep schedule is always out of whack and the only reason it concerns me this year, is because i've made a goal to lose 25 pounds. I'm not the most active person in the world, so I make up for it by eating less calories, but since I'm asleep so often, I'll be lucky to get more than 800 calories in before the end of the day. Today I woke up around 4pm and since technically its the end of the day, I had dinner for "breakfast". My dinners are always filling so I don't really get much of an appetite after that. Because I wake up well into the afternoon, I'm always awake til around 3 or 4 in the morning so I'll have a snack of cheerios around 11 or 12pm but that's about it :\ Is it bad to be eating this little?

My puppy won't stand up and is lethargic... what's going on?

My puppy is 10 months old and he is pretty active. However, just this evening, he started acting very odd. He looked rather depressed, despite the fact that all day today he was happy. He couldn't climb up the stairs, where he was perched on the middle step. He wouldn't stand up when we interacted with him, and when we helped him up, he could barely stand properly on his back legs. He didn't yelp, whine, or act aggressive in any way. He had his tail between his legs but he could stand on his own. He refused to walk or go outside, and as soon as he was up, he lay back down, acting depressed again. We felt his tummy, looked at his gums, and felt the rest of his body for any other signs of trauma or swelling. His muscles around his abdomen and leg area were somewhat tense, which caused us to look at signs of bloat. He does not seem to have that. In fact, he seemed to have a good appetite, eating his food and drinking some water. We suspect that he has a muscle injury, but we are unsure, as he does not act as if he is in pain, other than the fact that he looks very depressed with his tail between his legs. He will not straighten his hind legs all the way when we massage the seemingly injured area. Is this a muscle injury, or is it something else? Should he be taken to the veterinarian, or just observed and rested for awhile?

So I understand that to get a definitive answer I need to go to a doctor but I'm hoping to get at least some kind of idea what's going on. I'm a 21 year old, usually healthy female. For a little over a week I have been sick. I had a hangover 9 days ago and I got MUCH sicker than I should have (Granted I felt a little sick two days before). I've been feeling weak, slightly sick to my stomach and tired ever since. I usually have a pretty good appetite all day but lately I've had NO appetite and I have to force myself to eat at least a meal a day. Every time I drink soda, sweet tea or eat a heavy meal I get really sick to my stomach and have to run to the bathroom. Any ideas what is going on here? Is this normal? It was prescribed because my Eustachian tubes were full of fluid, and it has a chart of how many to take every day, with 6 the first day then one less pill every day. The alblums 7 years old,It's my favourite alblum but now there killing it, the Broadway show didin't even start touring yet. I have pain in my back, and my right side. I am constantly feeling nausea and tired. My parents force me to eat, even when I'm full?

Please, please help... I am crying in pain right now... My parents always make me eat whenever they want me to... And usually, that's after a meal or something, so I'm already full... :'( I don't like eating when I'm full... :'( It feels terrible, as I am naturally a person with a small appetite... I would like to know what acoustic songs are fun to play and require attention to detail when playing. Songs that use the whole fretboard such as the unplugged intro to Hotel California and Nothing Else Matters are awesome, I love learning those kinds of songs. And the intro solo to Wish You Were Here, Angie, Classical Gas, etc. I like classic rock and blues but also play modern songs like Taylor by Jack Johnson and Neon by John Mayer. I need some challenging songs that are still reasonable as I've gotten pretty good at guitar and am tired of learning songs with the basic C, G, D chords. I think I might have an eating disorder?

Ever since my freshman year of high school I've been fairly obsessive over my weight. At the end of my freshman year I weighed around 250. Now I weigh around 200 but I'm still not happy. I only eat 3 times and I have abused laxatives, taken diet pills like appetite suppressants, and binged. I only eat around 1000 calories a day. Everytime I eat I always feel terrible afterward. I workout everyday for about 1-1 1/2 hour with both cardio and strength. I just want to know if what I'm doing is healthy or not?

What is wrong with my son?

My five year old son came down with a fever Saturday morning. He has cold symptoms, Diarrhea, and no appetite. I took him to the Doctor on Monday, his temp was around 101-102 she said it was just a virus and plenty of rest and liquids would get rid of it. Its Wednesday night and he still has a fever and all the above symptoms. He sleeps most of the day and drinks lots, but he doesnt seem to be getting any better, worse maybe. He is cranky and miserable. I have hardly left the house all week, Im starting to go crazy. Should I take him back to the doctor or just wait it out?

It is absolutely IMPORTANT for you to wear sunscreen all year round. The anti-aging products are totally useless for someone so young. Basically, wearing sunscreen with UVA and UVB blockers are what you need. The UVA rays from the sun ruin the collagen in your face..making you lose elasticity, giving you wrinkles. (UVB is what burns your skin) In the long run sunscreen IS an anti-aging product for you at your age. I would cut down the exfoliating to once a week. You are pretty set on the other stuff. I have had a constant runny nose for months now. Why?

I have never had allergies or hay fever my whole life. Since February, my nose has felt like a leaky faucet. And for the past couple of weeks, the back of my throat is burning. My appetite is fine, and I feel fine, other than these symptoms. have never experienced this before. Anyone out here have a hint, clue, or answer? As we grow up, is it possible to start getting allergies, etc., that we had no problem with when we were younger?

Birth control: Is it possible to be pregnant and not know?

I started having a couple pregnancy symptoms about a month ago. I took a pt that was negative and the doctors was negative so we decided I start Ortho Evra (the patch) which I started the day I got my period June 6. I had some small clotting but not a lot of pain and it went away. I have bled lightly since I started the patch but the doctor said that could last up to 3 months. The part that I find so odd is that I have gained 6lbs and the last week or so I have had a huge increase in appetite, fatigue, moodiness, etc. I have spoken to several women who used the patch and they decided to switch because they had bad nausea. But NONE of them had those symptoms. Some suggested maybe I wasn't far enough along when I had the pt done. Has anyone ever experienced this? I don't want to seem foolish to go to my doctor with this but also don't want to feel foolish not to go to the doctor. Advice plz. Can you be pregnant then start birth control and not know you're pregnant?

I was told and it was true, that it make you crave carbs. which sucked. because it was right around christmas...anyways it made me very much more suicidal and i was placed into a psychiatric facility and immediately taken off. meds are really different for everyone though. some people it works great for. some it doesn't. if it works for your mom it should work for you. btw i'm 17 so i'm a teenager too. i wouldn't read too much into others side affects because if your anything like me...you'll panic with every single thing that could go wrong...

Why is my dog suddenly panting,Shaking,and unable to hardly move?

My dog is a Bassethound 7 years old. He randomly couldn't make it up the stairs and started panting and shaking uncontrollably. He stinks and his eyes are red. He is fine 10 minutes later until we have him walk again. He has no appetite and will not drink water on his own. But has a normal temperature.What is wrong with him?
