Pain in lower left side of my abdomen that switched to right?

I am only 2 & 1/2 weeks or so into my cycle and for the past 2-3 days I have been experiencing a sharp pain that is sometimes on my left side and sometimes on my right. It lasts somewhere in between 5-10 minutes. There has only been a thinker white discharge with it. My husband and I are trying to conceive and i'm wondering if this could be a sign of early pregnancy? My boobs have also been a little tender and my appetite has increased. If not early pregnancy then maybe implantation? How long after implantation do symptoms start to occur?
