After eating chicken I seem to get a tingling sensation in my hands and face, why?

after eating Oscar Mayer deli-fresh chicken I seem to get a tingling sensation in my hands and face..is this caused by a preservative chemical? I've been dating a lactovo vegetarian and for the past year really have not eaten much meat. This is the strangest feeling.
